The building at Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam houses the Paradiso pop venue. GebouwNbeheer prepared the maintenance of the painting of the facade frames, arranged the tender and supervised the execution.
Special attention was needed for the window frames with acoustic front glazing. Because these had to be removed to make painting possible. We looked for a way of replacing them in which this would be less complex in the future.
The color scheme of the transparently finished doors and the fascias required consultation with the preservation of monuments to make it fit within the historic image of the building. During construction, our supervisor discovered that it was necessary to adjust the drains of installations to prevent damage to the zinc roofing.
