The Frascati theater is housed in buildings at Nes 59, 71 and Oudezijdsvoorburgwal 304 in Amsterdam. The task for gebouwNbeheer was to prepare and supervise the painting work and perform a sustainability analysis. The facade maintenance was carried out in two phases.
The survey of the properties revealed that masonry repairs were needed due to cracking caused by settlement following foundation repairs. Several areas of painting also needed extra attention to be brought back to good condition.
After inspections during execution, it was decided to replace a sandstone lintel and connections of skylights were made watertight again.
By approaching the task with a critical and broad view, the technical quality of the buildings was restored.
